Veterinarian Overview
In 1969, Dr. Lynn A. Bluhm graduated Fightin Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He looked around at the many opportunities available to him and settled on moving right back home to practice. Shortly afterwards he purchased what is now Brush Country Veterinary Clinic from his former employer Dr Booger Hubert. As the majority of Docs practice at the time consisted of cattle, he chose to move the office half way between George West and Three Rivers directly across from the Live Oak Auction Barn. Doc and his wife Janis live in Three Rivers and have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Their oldest son, Alan, is a graduate of St. Marys Law School and assists with the management of Docs practice. Alan lives in San Antonio and has two teenage children, Peyton and Christopher. Their youngest son, Cory, lives in College Station and works as an IT professional. His girlfriend, Crystal, is also a veterinarian and on occasion assists with the practice.
