Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Peggy Rucker, and her husband Dr. Bayard Rucker, are the co-owners and founders of SVVS following their graduation from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. They share their home in Lebanon with Twelve Jack Russell Terriers and two Standard Poodles as well as one pasture ornament horse named Dakota. Dr. Peggy's favorite hobby is working and playing out in the yard with her dogs, planting flowers, landscaping, as well as taking care of their small fish pond. You rarely see Dr. Peg without at least some of her dogs, they travel with her almost everywhere. She also enjoys agility, at whichJ, her Standard Poodle, is a natural. When not working at SVVS or gardening, she and Dr. Bayard also love traveling and riding their motorcycles. Now, if they could only figure out how to get the dogs on the motorcycles...
