Dr Smith is stellar, in knowledge, skill, and ability to explain complicated medical issues in a clear and compassionate manner. As an emergency vet, he saved my dog's life three times in her first year, before she was finally diagnosed by a specialist. He also gave the best advice and gave me confidence that I could take good care of Keara. Words cannot convey my gratitude to this doctor for the precious years he gave me with my best friend. It is so obvious to anyone who watches that he immediately bonds with his patients, and that he cares tremendously for each and every one of them. And they love him! Dr. Smith hurts when his patients suffer, and he shares deeply in the sorrow of their passing. I have often wished that he would become a "regular vet" so that we could benefit by his advice through the years and see him more often. I don't believe there is a more competent or compassionate vet on earth, and I would trust him with the wellbeing and life of any of my family members. I wish him joy.
