Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Beth Custalow I recently returned to Virginia after living and practicing in California. It is wonderful to be home again, near family, and my extended family, the Mattaponi Indian Tribe. Originally from Newport News, I attended VA –MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and also earned a master’s degree from VA Tech in Nutrition/Exercise Physiology. The first four years I was in practice I worked in equine medicine before transitioning to small animal practice. My four legged family includes a wonderful twelve year old rescue dog named Basil and four horses. During my time off I enjoy horseback riding and dressage competition. I also enjoy hiking, biking and anything outdoors. Anderson’s Corner Animal Hospital provides excellent quality and compassionate care to their clients. It is a privilege to be a part of this great team!
