Veterinarian Overview
Dr Blenden is a native Floridan who grew up in central Florida. She attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees (Go Gators!). She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Cum Laude, in 2007. After graduation, Dr Blenden moved to Virginia in search of cooler weather with four "real" seasons. She initially worked in equine and mixed animal medicine, then transitioned to small animal practice in 2009. Her special interests include spay/neuter surgery and helping with shelter animals. Dr. Blenden provides relief veterinary service for Cacapon Veterinary Medical Center as well as other regional hospitals. She lives in West Virginia on a small farmette with her husband, two lovely horses, and three adorable cats.
