Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lass joined our staff in 2005. She grew up in Austin, Texas, and quickly knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She is a proud Aggie, graduating from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Her husband, Steven, and their two future Aggies, Faith and Joshua, live in Allen. Their family also includes adopted animal friends - two happy retrievers, Cody and Molly, and one large parrot, aptly named Big Bird. Recent additions are a bit larger - two beautiful horses named Flash and Uno. Dr. Lass enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. Her special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and behavior. She is a past-president of the Avian & Exotic Veterinary Medical Association of D-FW, and continues her avian interests at Allen Veterinary Centre. Outside of work, Dr. Lass enjoys family time, riding, training horses, and Tae Kwon Do. She and her family are active members of Fellowship Church.
