Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sammie James was raised in Phoenix, AZ. After graduating from ASU, she earned her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in 2016. She is very excited to be back in Arizona and to be working at Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic with the doctors who mentored her through high school, undergraduate, and veterinary school. She has additional training in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic care and a passion for sports medicine, pain management, and a deep understanding and love for feline medicine.She is married and has three cats (Flynnigan, Appa, and Sully) and two dogs (Rico and Daphne). She loves to camp, hike and swim, cuddle her cats while enjoying a cup of tea (even in 110 degree weather), and going to see new movies.
