Veterinarian Overview
Arch Robertson, DVM, began teaching himself veterinary ultrasound in 1985 at his former small animal practice, East Valley Veterinary Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. He quickly realized the non-invasive nature of this technology and began offering his services to other veterinary practices throughout metropolitan Phoenix. Dr. Robertson became the first veterinarian to offer mobile ultrasound services in Arizona. After a decade of pioneering work in this burgeoning field, he founded VETMED in 1995. Dr. Arch Robertson earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University Veterinary School in 1983. He earned his bachelors degree from Ohio State University in 1978. He is a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. The Phoenix Zoo as well as numerous rescue organizations, are the grateful recipients of Dr. Robertsons philanthropy as he has generously donated his time performing ultrasound for these organizations. In his spare time, Dr. Robertson enjoys hiking, working out at the gym, paddle boarding, traveling, biking and playing ball with his Labrador, Clifford. He is a devoted father to Kimberly, Greg and Cole.
