Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Greg Benson grew up in Utah and did his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1990. Greg has been married to Leslie for 28 years and has five boys, Daniel, Michael, Elias, Seth and Sam. After practicing back home for three years, Greg and Leslie decided to move their family to Arizona in 1993. He practiced emergency medicine for five years before purchasing North Ranch Animal Hospital from Dr. Lewis in 2001. He enjoys medicine, surgery, and especially working with clients for all their pets' health needs. The Bensons also include a yellow Lab named Jack, four Desert Tortoises, and one box turtle occasionally seen in the backyard. When Greg is not at the office he enjoys gardening, bike riding, and doing things with his family.
