Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie Raper originally hails from suburban Detroit, Michigan (8 mile road is a real place!). She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grand Valley State University and then went to the Ross University for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Auburn University (War Eagle!).Dr. Raper has zero human children, but she does have three "fur babies," a maltese mix named PD, a gigantic cat named Leo, and a kitten named Archie. Her special interests in vet med include ophthalmology, neurology, surgery, and exotics, but outside of the clinic, she loves traveling, reading, scuba diving, lounging around with her pets, singing, and eating pizza.
