Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nicole Zuniga grew up in San Diego and attended U.C. Davis to complete her undergraduate education focusing on animal behavior. She was a zookeeper and animal trainer for several years as well as an emergency veterinary technician before attending veterinary school at Washington State University. After completing veterinary school and a post-graduate one year internship focused on emergency medicine and critical care she joined the PESC as an emergency clinician. Nicoles special interests include exotics animal medicine, emergency medicine and surgery. Her interests outside of work include outrigger canoeing, surfing, painting, and time with her dogs, family and friends.
