Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Vibert graduated magna cum laude from Fairfield University in Connecticut, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 1998. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2006. Upon graduation, she moved to California and completed a rigorous internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Viberts enthusiasm for emergency medicine lead her to a position with California Veterinary Specialists (in Murrieta and Carlsbad) where she was the overnight emergency and critical care veterinarian for over three and a half years. Her special interests include client education, critical care of the trauma patient, ultrasonography and anesthesia. She and her husband, Tim share their home with Rally, their magical dog who was brought to Butterfield as an injured stray. Their other furry family includes two cats, Vegas and George as well as two rats, Boris and Ivan. The newest addition is their horse, Valor whom they are lucky enough to house on their own property. In her spare time, Dr. Vibert enjoys running, riding horses, cooking and enjoying live music shows with Tim whenever possible. Also, if you have a hard time pronouncing her name, you can call her Dr. Amber if you like.
