Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Burner graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 18 years. He completed a one-year internship in cardiology and internal medicine at California Animal Hospital before entering into general practice. Most recently, Dr. Burner practiced in a feline specialty hospital in Orange County. Dr. Burner has a great deal of experience and interest in ultrasonography, internal medicine and cardiology. He is committed to practicing quality medicine and strives to treat every animal as if it were his own. Dr. Burner lives in Ventura with his wife Kirsten and daughter Sophia, along with their other furry kids; dogs River and Kodi; cats Blaze and Wobbles; and their tortoise, Stompy. Dr Burner is a proud member of the ventura veterinary community and member of the Santa Barbara Ventura Veterinary Medical Association.
