Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bruce Berger is not an associate at Harborside Animal Clinic. He is a board certified surgeon that travels to a select number of hospitals in SW Florida. We are very lucky to have his abilities and expertise available to perform surgeries at Harborside. Bruce moved to Southwest Florida in 1995 with his family. He received his DVM from Colorado State University and completed a formal internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in NYC. Dr. Berger is Board Certified in surgery and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. There are only 980 veterinarians in the United States who have achieved Board Certification - Diplomate status by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He has been a practicing surgeon for more than 24 years, placing him among the most experienced board certified surgeons in Florida. Dr. Berger is also a council member of the Association of Orthopedic Research and Education, a group of the most highly recognized surgeons in the United States.
