Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bloomer is a 1981 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he spent three years in Louisville, Ky. In 1984, he returned to Florida and developed a private ambulatory practice centered around the Thoroughbred race horse. In 1997, Dr. Bloomer co-founded Ocala Equine Hospital with Dr. Madison. His areas of interest include lameness issues and podiatry. Dr.Bloomer enjoys slalom waterskiing, surfing, and all water activities.
