Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Close was born and raised in Orlando. In fact, her family has taken their pets to Ocoee Animal Hospital since she was a young girl. After attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, Dr. Close worked as an engineer in Texas for several years before deciding to pursue her true passion of working with animals. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida and is very happy to be back home in Central Florida. She enjoys spending time with her beloved dog (Doogan), swimming, playing golf, and relaxing with friends and family.
