Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lee Alison Choset is very excited to be able to provide top-quality veterinary care for the patients at Silver Star Animal Hospital. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2013, she completed a year-long internship at Ocala Equine Hospital, working side-by-side with some of the most well-respected horse specialists in the country. While Dr. Lee Choset is an avid horse enthusiast, participating in a variety of Equestrian shows and events, she has decided to focus her professional efforts towards companion animal practice. She has gained valuable experience since then, working beside surgical and medical specialists in the companion animal community, and has proven to be a skilled practitioner of general and emergency medicine. Dr. Lee Choset has a keen interest and enthusiasm for surgery, and has spent time in a high-volume high-quality spay/neuter facility in order to hone her skills.
