Veterinarian Overview
"I knew I wanted to be a Veterinarian since I was 8 years old" I began my career in a farm practice in rural Michigan and then moved to the busiest small animal practice in north Chicago. I relocated to California and was fortunate to join the staff of a specialty practice, awarded the honor of "Practice of The Year" in the United States. I was then recruited to open and manage the first emergency and critical care facility in Berkeley where I treated over 20,000 patients. When I opened The Veterinary Center of Sarasota in 1985 I wanted to bring my experience and skills to a clientele comprised of pet owners that had a more than close relationship to their pets. Over the years I have constantly kept in contact with the best in veterinary medicine both locally, nationally and internationally. This enables a family practice to have access to specialized equipment and skills to help my patients.
