Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gina Machi Barron is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Barron started her career as a kennel assistant right here in our hospital! She quickly realized her true passion and followed her dream to become a veterinarian. During college she worked as a Veterinary Technician and volunteered at numerous animal organizations. Her special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, behavioral medicine and wellness. Dr. Barron is married to her high-school sweetheart, Rob. Their children include a mini-dachshund, a rescued pit bull, a chameleon, and five geckos. Her hobbies include kayaking, racquetball, geocaching and spending time with her family and pets.
