Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sigman attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She earned a bachelor of science in Animal Science in 1993, followed by a doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She started her career in Austin, Texas working in emergency and large multi-doctor private practices before returning to Florida in 2002. She worked in private practice until joining PBVSs Emergency Team in 2013. Dr. Sigman has a special interest in small animal internal medicine and has additional training in ultrasound medicine. After 18 years in emergency medicine, Dr. Sigman is on the front lines to diagnose and treat pets that are in the most urgent need of care and cannot wait for their primary care veterinarian to become available. When shes off the clock, youll find her with her two young children and two Maine Coon cats reading on the beach or snorkeling with the kids.
