Veterinarian Overview

Mike Raposo completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2007. He received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Following veterinary school, he completed a rotating small animal internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists. Mike was an associate in a small animal general practice in Massachusetts for nearly two years before moving back to Florida where he served as an emergency doctor in Gainesville for a year and a half. During that time he also started doing relief work for local general practices, a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and other local emergency hospitals. He has now transitioned back to general practice and is happy to finally be setting down some roots in the West Palm Beach area. His areas of practice that he enjoys most are surgery and emergent care. He has a labrador mix named Jetty and a cat named Brodie. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his fiancée, fishing/boating and doing CrossFit.
