Veterinarian Overview
Since childhood, Dr. Mogyoros knew that he wanted to become a veterinarian. He always had a love for animals and science, so the decision to pursue veterinary medicine as a career was an easy one to make. After earning his DVM from Michigan State University, he joined the Arbor Pet Hospital team in 1978 with a special interest in general medicine and surgery. He routinely completes dozens of hours of continuing education in dentistry, dermatology, and internal medicine.Dr. Mogyoros is an active member of multiple organizations, including AAHA, AVMA, FVMA, AVDS, AAFP, and BCVMA. As a result of his dedication and contributions to the veterinary industry, he has received the AAHA Excel Award, Florida Veterinary Medical Associations Gold Star Award, and was past president of the BCVMA. His favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping pets and their owners, and the camaraderie of the practice team/family. Dr. Mogyoros is married with two sons and two dogs, Maya and Monet.
