Veterinarian Overview
I have been with Cherokee Animal Hospital for several years now. I am a hometown girl who grew up in Canton. I got my start in veterinary medicine at the age of 14, cleaning kennels here at CAH for Dr. Ivy Lidstone. I received my doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2007. I live with my husband, our daughter, and our three pets. We have a wire haired Jack Russell Terrier named Shelby, who likes camping and hiking with us. Denali is our black and white tuxedo cat that I adopted on the first day at my first job as a veterinarian. About 6 months later, I adopted Bonzai, a black cat with extra toes. I like developing lasting relationships with my clients through the care of their pets.
