Dr. Denise Melton (Tamberly Animal Hospital)

Veterinarian Overview

Dr. Melton’s decided to pursue her dream and went to veterinary school after working in the computer field for a number of years. With a veterinary degree from UGA and a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech, she never picks a side during the Georgia / Georgia Tech game!Before starting Tamberly Animal Hospital Dr. Melton worked in emergency medicine for many years, most recently at Mountain Emergency Animal Center in Blue Ridge. She continues to work some emergency shifts at Atlanta Veterinary Specialist in John’s Creek, although hopefully you won’t have a need to visit her there.Her passion is providing comprehensive health care for pets to help them live a long and healthy life. She enjoys spending time educating clients about the health considerations of their pets – client questions and involvement in their dog’s and cat’s health care plan is encouraged!
