Veterinarian Overview
Christine Adams was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Ames, Iowa in 2000 to attend Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Iowa has been home ever since. She received her DVM in 2004. She went into a small animal general practice in Council Bluffs, Iowa for almost 2 years. She completed a 1 year internship in small animal emergency and critical care at Iowa State University from 2006-2007. She then completed a 3 year residency in small animal emergency and critical care medicine at the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Specialty Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2010 and was Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care 2013. She has a special interest in sepsis/SIRS, oliguric renal failure, and ventilation therapy.
