Veterinarian Overview
I was born and raised in the Hudson River Valley of upstate New York. My love for veterinary medicine was kindled at the age of 12 during a veterinary visit for our new puppies. I realized that veterinary medicine combined my interest in biology with my love of animals.I graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 1989. In 1993, after a few years of mixed animal practice in New York, my family moved to St. Louis where I joined the Columbia Animal Hospital as an associate.In the spring of 2001, I bought the practice. It's been very rewarding to have built relationships with clients over the years and an honor to treat and care for so many delightful pets. Columbia-Waterloo has been a wonderful area to raise our sons, Dan and Nate, and our many dogs and catsI'm very proud of our accomplished staff and the level of care we provide. We look forward to serving you and your pets.
