Dr. Michael W. Miller The highly skilled staff helps me provide quality care to our patients, and they can lift my spirits even on the most stressful days. With a special interest in exotic pets, Dr. Michael W. Miller has an exhilarating perspective providing the most innovative techniques and medical care for your pets. Dr. Miller joined our practice in 2013. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Miami, Florida in 2007 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2011. Dr. Miller had externships at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago and the Georgia Sea Turtle Center in Jekyll Island, Georgia. He also volunteered for the WildLife Medical Clinic treating injured Illinois wildlife. Dr. Miller is a member of the ISVMA, AVMA, the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians. Dr. Miller has three aquatic turtles, Mitchell, Norton and Mader; one dog, Wombat; and one corn snake, Crush. When not looking after your pet's care, he enjoys watching Chicago sports teams and running with Wombat.
