Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Richa Sachdev was raised in the southern suburbs of Illinois. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston for her undergrad and then transferred to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. She left the island in 2007 and did her clinical year at U of I and graduated in 2008. She has a strong interest in dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, and is currently in the process of being certified for veterinary acupuncture. She lives in the city with her husband, son, and three dogs (two rescue coconut retrievers from the island, and one rescue pittie from Chicago). In her spare time she enjoys traveling, exploring all the different types of food Chicago has to offer (always can find a new one!), and spending time with her family.
