Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Yael Cidon is the owner of PetVets Animal Hospital. She graduated with High Honors in 1992, having earned a Bachelors of Science and a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. Animals have been an integral part of Dr. Cidons life. The past 35 years of small animal experience and education has made her well-versed in the language and behavior of cats and dogs. Prior to the creation of PetVets Animal Hospital in 1997, Dr. Cidon practiced as an attending and emergency clinician at a busy 24-hour emergency hospital in the northwest suburbs. Dr. Cidon has always referred to her pets as her kids. In 2004, two human children were added into the mix when her twin boys, Noah and Gabriel were born. Both boys hope to be able to work at the hospital when they are older.
