Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mary Grabowski received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008 from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine with a special interest in exotic and wildlife medicine. She has extensive experience in Exotic Animal Medicine including birds, reptiles, small mammals and wildlife. She is licensed to treat and rehabilitate community injured wildlife. One of her future goals is to become a diplomat of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Avian Medicine and Small Mammal Medicine.She has worked in the Chicagoland area and suburbs for the past 9 years. She owned Northwest Exotic Veterinary Clinic in Streamwood, IL for the past 4 years and recently joined Harper Animal Hospital in September 2017. She enjoys practicing and the challenges of exotic, cat, and dog medicine. Dr. Grabowski lives with her husband and 2 children. She has a dog, Scout (blue-merle Sheltie) and 4 birds- Tuga (male Eclectus parrot), Remi (Sun Conure), Kiwi (Cinnamon Green-Cheek Conure), and Jojo (Rose-breasted Cockatoo). She also has a clinic kitty named Tabitha aka Fat Pants that has made the move to Harper Animal Hospital.
