Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dustin was born and raised in Woodridge, IL. At a very young age his family instilled in him a compassion for serving others. From volunteering with the Salvation army to spending Sundays at Church, this compassion has grown throughout his life. Eventually his passion for serving others was molded with his love for animals which led him on his journey into the world of veterinary medicine. The combination of these passions has lead him all over the world; traveling to Juarez, Mexico to build homes; to Montrouis, Haiti to work at an orphanage; and to Heredia, Costa Rica with Christian Veterinary Missions where he offered veterinary care for the local livestock and pets. His journey ultimately led Dr. Dustin to the University of Illinois where he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences as well as his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, his passions flourished. He served as the ethics committee representative for the college and he became the founder and President of the Diagnostic Imaging Club. His accomplishments in diagnostic imaging earned him the American College of Veterinary Radiology's Senior Student Award. He has continued to refine his skills in practice. His particular areas of focus lie in ultrasound, cardiology, and surgery. When Dr. Dustin isn't working or traveling on mission trips abroad, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors. Anything from hunting, fishing, camping, or even just going on runs and hikes with his pup named Dierks, you won't find him inside on a sunny day!
