Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Moore, completed her masters degree and residency in small animal surgery at Auburn University. A native of Dallas, Texas, Leslie studied neuroscience and behavior at Columbia University in New York before moving back to Texas to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. Leslie obtained her DVM from Texas A&M University as a proud member of the class of 2012. She went on to complete a rotating small animal internship at Kansas State University in 2013, and then moved to Alabama to start her surgical residency at Auburn. Leslie has a particular interest in surgical oncology, reconstructive procedures and traumatology, but enjoys all aspects of small animal surgery. She believes strongly in collaborative medicine and caring for the whole patient. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring new places, and watching too much TV.
