Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alex Moran Grieves was born and raised in Hays, KS. She graduated from Hays High School in 2009 and spent most of her spare time working at the front desk of Hays Veterinary Hospital. She then went on to Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelors of Agriculture in Animal Science and her DVM in 2016. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Grieves returned to her hometown and resumed a new role at Hays Vet. Dr. Grieves is a member of the AVMA, KVMA, and on the board of the Humane Society of the High Plains. Her interests include feline medicine, shelter medicine, and oncology. She married her college sweetheart, Cole, in 2014 and they have two kids a senior black cat named Bear and an ornery shepherd mix named Remy. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and cooking.
