Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Matt Peuser, originally from La Cygne, KS, is a 2007 graduate of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan, KS. He also completed his undergraduate work at K-State in Biology.Prior to coming to Olathe Animal Hospital, Dr. Peuser worked at a mixed animal practice in Augusta, KS, for 15 months, where he advanced his medical and surgical knowledge. He has a well rounded interest of veterinary medicine, but especially enjoys dentistry and is passionate about pain management. He became certified in veterinary medical acupuncture early in 2013.Dr. Peuser married his wife, Jill, in 2003. Jill graduated K-State with a Masters in accounting. They currently have three boys, Dylan, Zachary, and Weston. Dylan and Zachary enjoy being big brothers, and the boys keep Matt and Jill busy.While not practicing veterinary medicine or working on a home improvement project, Dr. Peuser enjoys playing golf, poker, and video games. He is an avid sports fan, especially K-State football and basketball.Veterinary medicine has always been a dream of mine since growing up with animals on the farm. I enjoy interacting with clients and their pets, and I strive to give pets the level of care I would expect for my own.
