Veterinarian Overview
Dr Caroline Goutal-Landry is a native of France. She graduated in 2008 from the National Veterinary School of Alfort in Paris. She then completed a human echocardiography training prior to completing a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Tufts University in 2009. She then completed a three-year residency at the Louisiana State University in 2012 and obtained board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She was awarded best teaching intern/resident 3 years in a row at LSU. Prior to joining the Baton Rouge Veterinary Specialists team, Dr Goutal-Landry worked at Medvet Mandeville and New Orleans for a year. Her areas of interest include cardio-respiratory medicine and gastroenterology. Dr Goutal-Landry has combined her passion for marine mammals and traveling by performing several missions in the Mediterranean Sea, Madagascar and Canada. She is also currently a volunteer at the Institute of Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS) in Gulfport, Mississippi. In her spare time, Dr Goutal-Landry enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon, a native of Baton Rouge, and their many pets.
