Veterinarian Overview
Dr. James M. Lasiter grew up in Bossier City and graduated from Parkway High School. He then attended Louisiana Tech University where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Dr. Lasiter then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2001. After graduating from Veterinary School, Dr. Lasiter moved to Ocala, FL where he worked in a busy Small Animal and Equine practice gaining valuable experience in medicine and surgery. From Florida, Dr. Lasiter moved back to LA and spent 2 years in another busy animal hospital. Dr. Lasiter has since built and opened North Airline Animal Hospital where he is the primary veterinarian. Dr. Lasiter's professional interests include laser surgery, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and preventive and geriatric medicine. He is a member of many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Better Business Bureau, and Who's Who in American Small Business. Dr. Lasiter's goal is to provide excellent client service and treat each patient like family, while providing state-of-the-art medical care for pets.
