While babysitting a kitten, I noticed a problem with her eyes within 24 hours. I took the kitten (Tittle) to my regular vet’s office and was told that she needed to see an ophthalmologist immediately. I was referred to Dr. Van Brunt who saw her on the same day. He not only saved Tittle’s eyesight, but she was comfortable enough with him that he was able to hold her like a baby to conduct a thorough eye exam (lights, medicines, etc). This kitten was adopted from a city shelter and was cautiously nervous around new people. She immediately felt comfortable with Dr Van Brunt and his entire staff. She did not have the same reaction to my regular veterinarian earlier that day; Tittle put up a good fight! I appreciate Dr. Van Brunt’s expertise, kindness and compassion toward all animals. He is extremely smart, compassionate, and has the highest level of integrity. He truly loves his job and it shows on his face when he greets his patients. He hired amazing vet techs who also provide excellent care. The office is beautiful, extremely clean, and has all the amenities needed for both patients and their loved parents. My husband, a physician, is extremely impressed with Dr. Van Brunt as well. I highly recommend this veterinarian without any hesitation. Dr. Van Brunt continues to follow Tittle’s care! She loves him, which is unusual for a cat. No scratches, screams, or antics of any kind.
I had to face some tough decisions for my pet, Prince. Every detail was explained to me by Dr. VanBrunt and he made sure I understood all outcomes. I felt very comfortable with my final decisions and was sure my Prince was receiving the best care possible. Was easy to get in touch with after hours every time. All staff and Doctor made me feel like Prince was special to them. There are not enough good things to say about this practice. Love them.
