Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Matthew Levy is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine with special recognition in companion animal medicine and diagnostic imaging. He was born and raised in New Orleans and grew up at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital as the son of Dr. Gary Levy. He started at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital in 2005 as a veterinary technician while attending Jesuit High School. Dr. Matt has special interests in companion animals and diagnostic imaging. His research has been published in Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound, the official scientific journal of the American College of Veterinary Radiologists and the International Veterinary Radiology Association. He is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Radiology Society, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. In March, he and his wife, Emily, became proud new parents of their son, Caleb. They also have two dogs: Zoey (pug) and Abigail (golden retriever).
