Dr. Luehman took care of my baby Milo as soon as possible. Always! I trust very few people with my rabbit. When he ended up with dental issues Luehman was the person to pinpoint exactly what was going on and take the right precautions and actions to make sure he was taken care of and nothing further was wrong. She was the reason we were frequent flyers at Catonsville. She helped with my 3 bunnies. She did a wonderful job at spaying my big girl and checking out Milos GF after I adopted her to bond with him. She was constantly offering a helping hand anyway she could. When we found out she was moving we were on a frantic hunt to find Milo a new vet that was as close to how she was and to make sure all his dental needs were continuing to be taken care of. She even equipped me with a “how to” with trimming down his teeth and what items to get to help with this. She helped endlessly until we found a new vet even when she wasn’t scheduled to work. Great vet, I would follow her office to office to make sure Milo has the care he needs and the vet that makes me feel comfortable leaving him in there comfortable. She’s a 5star!!
On September 8, 2019, late in the evening our pet bird got startled and flew into a wall. We immediately rushed him to our local Veterinary Referral Associates Emergency Hospital in Gaithersburg, MD. Unfortunately, there were no aviary vets available at that location. However, Angela, at the VRA was so helpful and wasted no time on calling Dr. Luehman at The Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital in Laurel. Angela told us that the vet was waiting for Blu our Quaker Parrot. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Holly who immediately took Blu to the back for an examination. To us, the wait seemed like an eternity but in reality it was perhaps a good 20 minutes that it took for Dr. Luehman to do a thorough exam on Blu. Afterwards, Dr. Luehman thoroughly explained her findings and allayed our fears on Blu's condition. We were so grateful that Dr. Luehman was there to care for Blu. Happy to report Blu is doing great!
