Veterinarian Overview
A native of Maryland, Dr. Melissa Reidy received her BS in Zoology at the University of Maryland in 1999 before attending the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland, where she graduated with honors in veterinary medicine in 2004. She returned to Maryland after graduation and practiced in general small animal medicine for several years, before an interest in emergency medicine led her to join the team at EAH in April 2014. She has a particular interest in feline and geriatric medicine, and internal medicine.Dr. Reidy enjoys running half marathons and traveling in her free time. She lives with her husband, four cats, and two shih tzus in southern Maryland.
