Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lisa Challberg, a Maryland native, joined Muddy Branch Veterinary Center in October 2013. She graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR in 2005, and came back east to attend veterinary school at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Challberg's veterinary interests are wide ranging, but she is particularly excited about preventative care and behavioral medicine. She especially enjoys receiving kisses and cuddles from her patients, and catching up with clients whenever possible. In her spare time, Dr. Challberg enjoys reading, tending to the family horses and dogs, and all varieties of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, running, hiking, and telemark skiing.
