Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Willens is our Part Time Associate Veterinarian and has been practicing Veterinary medicine since graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Immediately after 9/11/01, Dr. Willens joined the Military and is currently a Major in the United States Army Veterinary Corps. He is well versed in Pharmacology, Toxicology and has a passion for exotics. He has published several medical journal articles and even a few book chapters. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and many pets. Somehow, he also finds time to enjoy his other hobbies such as taekwondo, volleyball and playing classical piano all while supplying the lead vocals for his rock band “Til September”. Dr. Willens works in our office most Saturdays and as Relief Veterinarian when possible.
