Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Allen Holden, Co-Chief of Staff, is a Cleveland, Ohio native. He attended the Ohio State University for both undergraduate and veterinary education. After practicing equine medicine in Indiana for a year, he moved to Maryland and joined Country Veterinary Hospital in 1982. Dr. Holden enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially helping new pet owners with the challenges of introducing a new puppy, kitten, or rescued adult dog or cat into their household. In his spare time, Dr. Holden enjoys fly-fishing, picking the banjo, and listening to bluegrass music. He and his wife also enjoy hiking, kayaking, and spending time with their grandchildren. They share their home with Brody and Elle, their two Golden Retriever-Labrador crosses.
