Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Temm is a native of Arundel and is currently living in Kennebunk on a small farm. He attended M.L. Day School in Arundel, Biddeford High School, the University of Maine in Orono for his degree in Animal Science, and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 from the University of Missouri at Columbia. In addition, Dr. Temm is one of only a handful of veterinarians certified in PennHIP evaluation. Dr. Temm has been in private practice for over 17 years and has a special interest in canine and feline reproduction, veterinary chiropractic, and preventative medicine. He is a former president of the Maine Veterinary Medical Association and has served on the board. Since 1996, he has worked with marine mammals, assisting with rehab, medical and surgical cases; currently, he is on the board of Marine Mammals of Maine. He is married to Suzy, our Bookkeeper, and together they have two children, Amelia and Steven. The family has a dog, Bailey; 5 house cats; 2 guinea pigs; and 22 cows. Dr. Temm and his wife are raising limousine cattle in hopes of showing at local fairs. He is an avid sports fan (Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics), and enjoys playing golf and other outdoor activities.
