Dr. Jaynes is absolutely an angel on earth. She was so very compassionate and caring during our recent visit last week when our brand new little puppy was sick and had to be put to rest due to a serious illness. It was one of the hardest things to go through losing a beloved pet regardless of how long you've been blessed with it. My daughter, 13 years old, was with me during the appointment and we weren't expecting to hear the diagnosis, but Dr. Jaynes was so incredibly caring and thoughtful and explained everything so that my daughter was well informed and was given the time to process the difficult news. Dr. Jaynes also came to my daughter's middle school at Shakopee East as a guest speaker to the students and discussed her experience with veterinarian medicine, so my daughter knew her and loved her! I can't say enough things about how much we needed Dr. Jaynes to be there during our experience and to have her be the incredible veterinarian to handle our difficult situation. She gave her undivided attention to us, didn't rush us into any decisions, but carefully laid out our options in a way that we could make the best informed decision for our family and our little pup TJ. It just so happened that Dr. Jaynes has the same initials as our little pup, and she mentioned that during the time in which she was holding him and explaining our options. It couldn't have been a better experience, and we're grateful for the staff at Shakopee Vet Clinic as well as they were very compassionate and caring throughout the process as well.
A difficult and painful heartbreaking experience for our family was guided in such a gentle and loving way by Dr. Tyler Jaynes
