Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kristina Weitzel is a familiar face at Horton Animal Hospital-Forum. She started as one of our stellar technicians in 2008, while completing her bachelor's degree in biology in 2011 at MU. She then graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Although she was born in Madison, WI, Dr. Weitzel claims to be a native Columbian, supporting the Missouri Tigers and Cardinals baseball. In her time off, she loves to travel, spend time with her family, and be outdoors. Her family includes her husband, Shaun, her beagle mix Pepper, and orange tabby, Tommy.
