Veterinarian Overview
Kathy Vetter-Bisges, DVM and the owner of Lake Pet Hospital. I am originally from St. Louis and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy. I attended the University of Missouri - Columbia and received a BS in Animal Science, as well as my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. I have a daughter, Sarah, and a son, John. My companion, Phil Berger, and I love to spend our free time hunting and fishing. We travel to Canada every Fall to waterfowl hunt, enjoy hunting turkeys and doves, and we fish as often as time will allow. I have a Chihuahua named Tulip, my yellow Labrador Retriever hunting companion Rooster, a Pit Bull/Lab mix named Molly and a menagerie of cats that live in my hospital and serve as the official customer service agents. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, the Eldon Chamber of Commerce (past president), the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Miller County Mizzou Alumni Association, National Wildlife Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, and the Eldon Lions Club. I was also the recipient of the Sam Walton Business Leader Award.
