r. Bill Armon is a 1979 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine holding a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture in 1972. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the Greater Saint Louis Veterinary Medical Association.Dr. Armon has been associated for more than 20 years with the St. Louis Endangered Wolf Center (Wolf Sanctuary) as a veterinary consultant involved in the research and preservation of wolves and other wild Canids. He has also served on the University of Missouri Extension Council of Jefferson CountyDr. Armon owned and operated a veterinary practice in Fenton, Mo. from 1979 to 1994. He also opened and managed a veterinary practice in Edwardsville, Ill. from 1991 to the year 2000. Dr. Armon purchased High Ridge Animal Hospital in High Ridge in 1995 and remains as sole proprietor and practicing veterinarian.Along with his wife Sharon, Dr. Armon has 3 dogs, 3 horses, 3 cats and a flock of chickens. He and Sharon have 3 grown children. Dr. Armon is a member of the Fly Fishing Federation and a certified fly-casting instructor. He enjoys making authentic bamboo fly fishing rods.
