Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Patty Homeyer grew up in Platte City, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. It was where she met her husband Rob. She has been an associate veterinarian for Union Veterinary Associates for 10 years. She is a jack of all trades, providing care for large and small animals. She has pursued additional training in the care of llamas. Dr. Homeyer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, Franklin County Cattlemans Association, Farm Bureau, American Angus Association and St. James Evangelical Church. She is Secretary of the East Central Veterinary Medical Association and a project leader for 4H. She also is active with PTO. Dr. Homeyer and her husband raise beef cattle and have a son in middle school. She enjoys attending her sons activities and horseback riding.
