Veterinarian Overview
A native of Port Gibson, MS, Dr. Segrest established Ridgetowne Animal Hospital in 1986 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. He attained his B.S. in Animal Science from Mississippi State University in 1978. In 1983 he graduated magna cum laude from the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine and received the graduate award for Excellence in Companion Animal Medicine. Dr. Segrest is a member of the AVMA and the MVMA and is past president of the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association. He and his wife Judi are the parents of two children, Hailey OBrien (Tim) and Spencer (Leigh) and the grandparents of Cade and Keller OBrien and Livi Segrest. His hobbies include his family, MSU athletics, restoring 1965/66 Mustangs , and the New York Yankees.
